Attorney at Law

Deliane Quiles
was born in Cuba and immigrated to the United States at the age of 17. Her personal immigration journey profoundly shaped her commitment to serving immigrant communities.

She graduated magna cum laude from Florida International University (FIU) with dual degrees in International Relations and Political Science. Although she knew from a young age that she wanted to become an attorney, it was her own experience navigating life as an immigrant in the United States—and witnessing the legal struggles many families face—that ultimately inspired her to dedicate her career to immigration law.

While attending Florida International University College of Law, Ms. Quiles participated in the prestigious Immigration and Human Rights Clinic under the leadership of Attorney Juan Gómez. Through the clinic, she represented individuals in removal proceedings and gained firsthand experience navigating the complexities of the U.S. immigration system.

During law school, she also volunteered in multiple community outreach initiatives providing free legal assistance to underserved immigrant populations. In her first year of law school, she began working at an immigration law firm as a legal assistant, gaining valuable hands-on experience. After earning her Juris Doctor, she continued with the firm as an attorney, further developing her litigation and advocacy skills.

In 2026, she co-founded Gomez Quiles Law alongside Attorney Liliana Gómez, establishing a firm dedicated to strategic immigration defense and complex removal litigation.

Ms. Quiles has extensive experience litigating before Immigration Courts, with a strong focus on removal defense. She has successfully represented clients in matters including asylum, cancellation of removal, VAWA cancellation, adjustment of status, and waivers under INA § 237(a)(1)(H). She also has broad experience representing clients before USCIS in a variety of immigration matters.

Fluent in both English and Spanish, Ms. Quiles is deeply committed to advocating for immigrants who, like her, left everything behind in pursuit of a better future for themselves and their families.
